Last day of flying the new toy.......

This little Extra 300? I think it was called performed some aerobatics while Roberto and I shot autos to Redlands Airport. Nice treat getting this cool airshow while training. You can see him at the top of the left corner.

Went up to Big Bear Airport to do some high altitude autos and found snow trying to stick to the resort. Looked really cool.

Beautiful Big Bear Mt. on my last day of training.

The coolest thing about the EC120, the fenestron tail! Bad @s#!!!!

Roberto and I

Training with Roberto in the the EC120 for HP Helicopters has been a blast. So fun to fly and a good experience flying with a factory pilot. Can't beat factory training.
Speaking of, this has been an amazing year of accomplishments now that I think of it. I went to factory school for the Bell 407 with Aris/Heli-Flite, then received company equivalent factory training in the S58 with them, and now factory school in the EC120 with HP. Not a bad year, flying 3 new machines, all amazing helicopters to fly, great experience and so many more doors have opened as a result of flying these new aircraft.
I've started flying for more companies this year including Air Resources out of John Wayne, flying their 407 on fire contract in Idyllwild which has been a real treat. I love it up there and it's a great machine and awesome company to work for.
It's been a busy year. My biggest accomplishment of course is getting carded for fire in the Sikorsky S58. Every year I fly it just gets better and better, never a dull moment flying choppers. I'm currently looking into working for other companies that fly 58T's so I can stay busier flying this wonderful machine since I haven't flown one for work since my forest service checkride back in August this year. Fire season started out fast and furious then took a sharp turn to the slow end. I'm now looking into getting in with companies that do construction year round in the 58.

BlackHawk Helicopters out of El Cajon they operate a round motor CH34 but its still just as good, just a suggestion :p. I saw a pic of your S-58 and other helicopters being stationed for the corona fire just a few days ago and I heard a rumor that Firehawk Helicopters Blackhawk was still there at Corona today so I went and looked and there it was along with a few pilots who said they were keeping it there till tomorrow so if you hurry you can see it, its awesome :D
