Desiree, VERY cool article! And both you and Stacy being talked about in the same article along with a legend like Patty Wagstaff says alot about both of you. :)
Wow! Thanks for sharing. I went to the magazine's site when you first mentioned the article and was disappointed that I couldn't read the article.
Great story and photos!
Hello Desiree, I frequently listened to your traffic and news reports in the past and just recently stumbled upon your website! I'm amazed at how much you do! You are an inspiration to girls everywhere which leads me to the main reason for my post. I'm a Girl Scout leader in Corona, CA and was wondering if by chance you ever use the Corona airport and if you do, if you'd be willing to talk to our troop. We could meet you at the airport. I think the girls would get so much motiviation to really reach for the stars from hearing about your story. If you think you might be available/interested in something like this, please let me know: chenyan@ca.rr.com Many thanks for your consideration! Connie
trevor, i totally agree. it was such an honor to be in the same article. wow!
jp, thanks. yeah, you have to subscribe to see the whole thing, so that's why i posted it for everyone to see. it turned out really well. thanks gates! the author!
connie, wow, come up to idyllwild if it's not too far! i can't think of a better location for the girl scouts to come up to to get motivated. i used to fly out of corona for the police but right now i'm not currently flying there since i'm up on a fire contract. i will send you a quick email.
How did Kandy get left out? Looks like a great article.
