A cool photo!

I love this photo. I got it from Helinet. It was for a movie shoot. This is not CG'd. This is real flying. The camera ship chasing the gunner ship. Pretty cool shot whoever took this photo.

Stunning pic Dez. I've seen helo's stacked up tight with blades over our heads but being such a kid at the time I never gave it any thought until awhile latter and then I'd start getting tight shoulders and a bit of a shake... Haha!
Seems I got drafted and I'm going back in time to the year 1942 Dez; Location- N. Afrika. I'll be traveling with the Wehrmacht and Rommel The Desert Fox. I vould so much like better to be in zah Luftwaffe but orders are orders.
Next week we go out to N. Afrika aka Victorville, Ca. and start our little war.
If the sights are really something I'll let you know where our LZ is.
Time to oil my K98 and boots.
Gutten nacht!
Very cool pics! Will you be at the Heroes show on July 12th? http://www.heroes-airshow.com/losangeles Hope to see you there!
The foreshortening really makes them look "on top" of one another, but still 'way close.
Do you ever watch a helo sequence in a movie and cringe at what they probably had to do to make that gag work? (Especially older movies).

To a non-pilot, helicopter buff like myself, your website is an absolute adventure for me! Fantastic photos and stories and I especially love you in the S-58s.Your attitude to life is as impressive as your skills and photos.
Keep enjoying it!!!
