FOX morning show on Sundays ROCKS!!!

What a great morning of flying! The day started out great. It was a first time all year that it was not freezing during my morning preflight and in flight. I actually used the air condionting in SKYFOX. I love summer. The morning show for FOX on Sundays is really casual and mostly about beauty shots of lovely Los Angeles. We spent most of the show flying along the gorgeous coastline. I was like a kid in a helicopter for the first time. The day was clear and you could see Catalina Island perfectly. No haze or fog on this day. Every little thing I flew over made me say wow. There were kyakers, surfers, seals, dolphins, people on the beach, people golfing at the Trump Golf Course. Everywhere we flew this morning was super fun and beautiful. I had missed flying along the beach since most of my flying has been towards the inland empire and off up in the forest the past 11 months. While over Long Beach near the Queen Mary we videoed two waverunners speeding out to sea and put that on the morning show. I guess if you can't join 'em, film 'em. It was just as much fun flying along side filming them as it would have been down there riding with them. I was jealous of everyone on the water today, then I realized, they are probably jealous of me. I can't believe I get paid to have so much fun sometimes.

Now, instead of doing erans as I usually do after work, I think I may take my motorcycle out for a super short ride to meet a friend for dinner this afternoon as I have to go to bed early once again for KMEX morning show tomorrow. Finally, a hobbie besides flying that I love doing. Ha Ha Ha. I hope tomorrow is just as lovely.

Ha, I saw you this morning!
I saw SKYFOX fly over the VNY house early and then I too went for a ride along the coast and I saw you again!
So that was you!? Very cool!!
Being in the air on a weekend is the only way. I rarely leave the confines of my Laguna or VNY home during weekends. What a zoo! So much traffic!
Wasn't the ocean amazing? It looked like glass and the sky was definitely C.A.V.U!
Fun pics of all those Corona properties. God I remember when it was just all dairy farms out there.
Those pics of homes with the dirt bike tracks in the backyard......
Oh I bet the neighbors are so happy about that lol!! Looks fun though!
Break-a-leg and stay happy!!

Jealous , envious , Hell yes , we “Wish we were you” !
But I don’t think there’s more than 1-2% of us that could keep up with your 3am wake-up schedule without losing it !
You’re defiantly “One Of A Kind” Desiree, and you are the best at what you do!
Now get some rest , and go do the right thing!
Thanks for keeping us with you, you’re always in our thoughts.

camerapilot, wow that's cool! ya saw me. i'll be flying fox again this sunday. they asked me to fly it this friday but i'm already booked to fly chopper 2. man, i'm busy. flying for every one working 7 days a week usually. it's all good though. i'm trying to get caught up. plus i'm a workaholic. it's really hard to say no to work. possible good and exciting news with tru tv coming soon!

stephen davis, thanks so much! there are others who work crazy hours like me. it's been crazy busy and it's hard to say no. it's getting busier as fire season approaches. lot's going on. i've actually had to say no to jobs. that's hard to do. i hate that. i don't know anyone else who works for six companies and manages to make it work. it is kinda crazy. lol. another show with trutv is in the works. it's not for sure yet but it's most likely a go. until i sign papers and they give me dates of the shoot i really don't know what's going on, but all i can say is that i'll be working nonstop all summer and hopefully on through the winter as well. yay! very exciting.
