2 really cool photos

Helicopter pilot, Aaron Fitzgerald. Photo by Luke Aikins of the Red Bull Air Force. The skydiver is Eli Thompson. The jump demonstration/exhibition is over the Nascar Race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. This jump was the last element of a pre-race air show that included F-15's, L-39's, UH-60's, and a C-130. Four jumpers exited the helicopter from 6,500 msl. Luke the photographer/skydiver made the image by flying on his back shooting straight up at Aaron and Eli with his helmet cam. The crowd at the race was 300,000. Aaron does this on a regular basis.

Need I say more. Cool photo! By Carston Bell of Angel City Air

Hotel Lima looks like she's screamin in that shot! Nice.
Dream like quality in that shot of Eli falling to earth too.Eerie!
Reminds me of when I go diving. I'll be under the surface, I'm standing on the tips of my fins on the edge of a stone cliff, I'll look down into the abyss, exhale, lean forward and glide down into the depth and gently roll out just before I touch down.
Totally relaxing.
Say "Hi" to Bishop for me on the way to Mammoth and have a happy yard sale or two!!

He does this on a regular basis? He has to be the luckiest guy ever! I went skydiving for my very first time two years ago in Hawaii. When I touched the ground, I immediately wanted to go right back up - I was hooked. I love jumping out of planes :-).

Cheers!

I'm liking that Faulkner quotation more and more Dez. I was going to haul off and run away after this Star Trek deal, disappear. You know, like turn my cell off, shelf the laptop, turn dog over to friends, go to airport with a fist full of cash, walk up to the departure sign, pick a spot on the planet and go..... I got jury duty instead. I won't use foul language on your site so I'll just say @(*$#@+_*&%%!*#^
*!!!!!*!@*#_(#&$^!!!$*&$&$&_(*%^%^#$*!!!!!!!!!!
I do hope your having a wonderful time out there.
I did a click on that one pix of you looking out side from the window of The Blue Beast. Dig the close-up on the instrument panel thats all blacked out and your ASI
hovering right at the yellow arc. Your hand on the cyclic looks like an eagles claw and your collective hand looks like your holding a butterfly. Great shot!
Take care out there.
