I'll keep you posted as to when anything exciting might be on the schedule this coming week!t
3/27.
Well paced coverage on the blackout. Perfect time to break out the Tiki torches and the candles don't you think?
Hey Dez,
Excuse me on crowding in on the comments but the sky right now has to be amazing for you up there.
Walked outside and saw the three quarter moon, the clouds that look like a nightscape done by Fredrick Remington, wow! It's an artists canvas that you flew across!!!
I'm amazed by what you see in your workshop!!!
Desiree,
Sorry I missed your coverage of the blackout, but my neighborhood was part of it. Had no electricity for 15 hrs, 45 min. Didn't come back on until 5 a.m. this morning.
Want a good price on some formerly frozen food?
Somebody's car canopy had been carried by the wind all the way to the top of the power pole behind my neighbor's house. It wrapped around the pole and the wires, with all its PVC-pipe legs bent and sticking out in all directions. Really funny looking. Some power lines also fell down.
All evening, until dark, neighbors were standing out on the sidewalk looking at the power pole and taking pictures. Guess they were bored without any TV to watch.
My friend, Steve, who lives at the end of our block emailed me these pictures of what caused our power failure (About 250 homes for almost 16 hours).
Maybe I should have called KNBC and asked them to send out Chopper Chick, but I wasn't sure that a car canopy on a power pole qualified as breaking news.
Canopy on Pole
laguna, i will let you know when i can. maybe this friday after work with stu. yep, i love the view from my office! lol.
richard, amazing what people actually do when they don't have tv huh? i bet that was funny seeing that canopy.
